I tried not to, but anything else I might have written would have been subpar. That being said, that's me and you are you. Nothing wrong with fiction or writing about pets and cotton candy. Sometimes we need fiction and pets and cotton candy. Sometimes we need a break from the horror show that is America right now.

Writing is both activism and reprieve. It is okay to be one or the other, or both. :-)
